Mark - Thank you so much for posting this link. I finally got around to reading it and I just loved it! I have to say that it really resonated with me because our family gets a lot of help with WIC vouchers and food stamps. And I work full time at a University with great health benefits! I find SOME consolation in the fact that I have been working for 10 years full time and have been putting money into the system all along, so it should be OK if I need to use government assistance now while my family is young. Still...this blogger is right. The Church should be meeting each other's needs - just like the Church of Acts did. Very interesting stuff to think about. I love to read your sermon synopses - makes up for not being able to actually be there. Keep up the good work, old friend. I sure do miss you. ~ Leah (Truitt) Drichel
